Default Make Your Android Really Fast Without Root!

After months of searching for an answer on how to make my android faster, finally I found the trick. I read a lot of articles in Google on "How to make your Android faster" nothing seems to work without root, I scanned all the 40 pages in Google and watched a lot of Youtube videos about making android faster some were helpful, some were not. The Reason I don't want to Root my phone is because I Hard Bricked my Samsung Galaxy 5 when I was flashing a Custom Rom on Rom manager! I tried everything except for the JIG USB Cable still hoping to find a way to fix it So I joined the forum to help my fellow android users! So Lets Get started!

1.Use a third party Launcher (ADW or LauncherPro)
Most of you already now this but I got some tweaks to make it more faster and efficiently!

For ADW:
1.1) ADW Settings>Screen Preferences>Desktop scrolling speed>Change it to 0
1.2.) ADW Settings>Drawer Settings>Zoom Effect Speed>Changei t to 300

For LauncherPro:
1.1 )LauncherPro Preferences>Advance Settings>Openning Speed>Change It to 10
1.2 )LauncherPro Preferrences>Advance Settings> Memory Usage>Choose What Makes Your system efficient.

2.Go Into Your Settings>Display>Animations>No Animations

3.Go Into Your Browsers Settings>Enable Plug-ins>Off

4.Remove Streaming Widgets Like Facebook, Twitter, Etc.

5.Uninstall Unused Applications. Also Uninstall Antivirus just Scan your phone in the computer. Antivirus takes a LOT of RAM.

6.Turn Off Your Auto Sync in Settings. Just Sync When needed.

7. Do Not Use A Live Wallpaper

8. Clear Cache

9. Move to SD card

10. Download Android Assistant you can clear cache and move Apps to sd card with this App. It also has a An Auto Boost Function and a lot of optimation Tools.

11. When Your Phone Lags, Turn It Off and On or Just Reboot it.

12. From Froyo Up Uninstall Task Killers.

If this Does Not Work Buy A New Phone
Thank You For Reading Hope This Helps!

Welcome to the forums! Some good tips there, especially for lower end phones.

it's kinda of myth that rooting is the only way to make an android phone faster . Your post is a proof .
As far as ROM Manager is concerned ,ROM Manager + Samsung Phones usually is a disaster ,due to limited CWM support for Samsung Phones .However Galaxy 5 is one of the few devices which has ROM Manager support and is now one of the official CM devices I think
In any case a Jig wont work ,I assure you .You will need a J-tag riff box to resurrect the phone .

I don't use ROM manager on ANY phone. I make backups & flash ROMs from recovery.
