Default How do I backup game data on android?

I'm planning to do a system restore on my android, I want to backup some of games data since I played them for a long time. Can I just connect my android phone to my computer and copy the game files I need to my desktop, restore my phone, download the game again and put the data in? Will that work?

Use titanium backup. It will backup the app and the data to the sd card. Then just in case copy the titanium folder from sdcard to your desktop. Do your restore then reinstall titanium backup. Then you can restore your game and data.

Think it's worth just mentioning that you do need to be rooted to do this. If you're not then unless the game developer provides some method of saving the game data to an SD card then there's not much else you can do.
If I helped you then please consider thanking me. A thanks produces lots of warm and fuzzies and is cheaper and easier than buying me a round of booze.

titanium backup won't do the large game data folders unless you play with the settings, go into the android/data/ folder to find the large game data folders for the hi end games that download 100s of megs or even gigs of data, and make a copy.

did that when I got my new tablet, to not have to redownload all that extra stuff again.

and you need root access
