Default Apps to MICRO SD Card?

Hello,

I am aware of numerous applications and the built in feature on Android which allow for applications to be moved to the SD card, but what about the Micro SD Card?

Is it poasible to move installed applications, whether on the phones internal memory or "internal USB/SD" to a removable Micro SD Card? If so, can it be done without rooting?

urrently running on 4.0.3 (if that helps?)

Thank you.

All phones use MicroSD. SD is often used as a simpler, shorter name for them, even though MicroSD and SD cards are obviously not the same.

There are several apps in the Play Store like Apps 2 SD that will move apps to your MicroSD without root.

Just to point out, using an app like Apps 2 SD does not move the entire app to the SD. there will still be a portion that resides on internal memory.

Some users think that if they use Apps 2 SD they can move the SD card to another phone to restore the app.

For that, I use AppMonster Pro Backup Restore. In addition to planting SDKs on the SD, it also has an app2SD feature.
