Can someone please help me im having an issue with my android its a samsung with atnt, theres more than 1 problem
1. it always says media scanning/ media scan completed
2. it always says MTP intializations then MTP connected even though i dont have it connected to a USB or a charger (the 1st 2 problems interrupt me while im listening to music or on youtube or something and it's really annoying)
3. my lock screen lags unless it is on the charger
4. theres always the little lightning bolt on my battery status that indicates its charging even though its not on the charger.


i tried using advice from other threads and that didnt help i even did factory reset, someone help because im to the point where i think i might need a new phone, and i spent too much time with my friend customizing my phone to my liking with themes ect.

p.s. until further notice i disabled the lock screen but the other problems still linger.

I don't know much but I know my Samsung Galaxy S2 has the same behaviour as your Number 1. I've got everything turned off -- or at least I tried -- but it really doesn't seem to affect the battery or anything so it's probably okay.

As for 2, 3, 4 those don't happen on my phone so you may have a dud. Can you take it into an ATT shop and ask them to look at it?
