The other day I finally downloaded google sky map....I had a date that night so I decided to try it. It did a great job setting the mood and the rest was history....

im not sure if you are aware how google sky maps works, but all you do is you point for phone up, and it shows you what stars and planets are right above you....

nothing is more romantic than staring at the night sky with someone you really like....she sits there looking at the sky in awe, and you look at her, she looks into your eyes...you move in, she moves in closer...and well the rest is history

you could also use one of those cheesey "pick up line" apps to say something ridiculous if the girl is into that kind of stuff

I have Nick and Norah's Infinite playlist movie on my Droid. One of my co-workers saw that I was watching it during lunch, she saw how clear it looked on my phone and she decided to watch with me. After that, we f'd. JK lol!!!! Sorry I couldn't resist.

It doesn't take a special phone to do this. Any phone will do. Escorts are in the yellow pages.

but I did laugh at the idea of anyone believing a phone helped them pick up a girl. Is this a midlife crisis "I need a flashy object to get laid" thing, or a "I'm so lame, it couldn't possibly be my charm" thing? Either way, I think you need something to build your confidence. It wasn't the phone. Unless she was an escort, and you called her with it.

Iridium Flares is a cool one too. Tells you when and where to look for satellites that get bright as they reflect light from the sun. There's usually at least one per night.

They look basically like shooting stars, except brighter and slower. They last 5-10 seconds. The brightest ones are significantly brighter than Venus; almost as bright as the moon.
