Default spam apps on my samsung galaxy S3

Recently I found some spam apps appear on my galaxy s3 occasionally, the apps are actually links to web pages directing to iconadserve dot com and then redirected to somewhere else, it varies time to time. I have to delete those spam apps manually every time.

I checked the services/processes running in background, and didn't find any suspicious apps. I was wondering if the phone got infected by some unknown apps I was unaware of?

Any one can give some hints?

Oh, the other similar symptom is, sometimes it also received similar notifications like the above, such as improve your phone's battery, performance, etc.

Try downloading airpushdetector: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brosmike.airpushdetector

Maybe this can show which app is causing problems.

Yes, what's happening is that one of the other apps you've installed is using "push advertising", which is what you are seeing. Follow nieltab's suggestion to find out which app that is - you'll have to uninstall that app to stop this.

Thank you so much! It works like a magic! I have uninstalled the app that uses the push ads notification.
