Default Wifi connection

Recently I updated to Android 2.2 and since then I'm not able to connect to wifi at home anymore, which is secured with WPA2. If I try at university (secured with 802.1x), it works normally.

Does someone have an idea what the problem is?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forums AlvaroFurlani, glad to have you!

Have you tried restarting the router, and maybe you have typed in the wrong network password for it?

Otherwise hard reboot your phone by removing the battery and restarting.

If none of these work get back to me and i will try and assist you further!

Have you thought about just factory resetting your phone, i mean if that doesn't work it could be a hardware issue, dealing with your cellular radios being bad.

I already tried it; nothing. The most strange is that problem started after I updated my cell phone to Android 2.2; before it I could connect to Wifi normally.

hmm, have you looked into the option of rooting your device, it may prove that the issue is somewhat related to the update and switching to a different ROM might solve it?
