I'm trying to just hook up my phone to my receiver using my audio cables just like I do my ipod but the sound is just coming through my phone's speaker. How do I switch that? I can't find a setting to change it. Thanks!

Are you pondering what I'm pondering??, lol sorry couldn't resist.

Are you sure that the cable your using is making a good connection in the phone headphone jack?

If you can plug in a set of headphones, and sound comes from them and not the phone speaker, I would then suggest maybe trying a different cable to connect to your receiver.
