Juice Defender & Gtalk
Hey, I have a LG Optimus V on Virgin Mobile, and a couple months ago it startin goin through a full 8 hour charge in 4 hours or less, (literally dying mid day through work..) So I contacted VMo, and they sent me a new battery, same issue so they sent me a new handset, same issue, nother new battery, finally I just decided to try Juice Defender, and now I'm gettin well over a full day per charge.
Problem is every time my screen turns off or the phone idles out, it disconnects Gtalk which is a pain in the arse when I'm having a convo and it keeps disconnecting me.
My question is this: How do I set up JD to not disconnect Gtalk, or can this be done?
To answer some questions you all may have: Yes, I've been through all of Vmo's bloatware apps, and the few I've installed and made sure auto updates and stuff like that is all shut off... Vibrations are turned off, etc. so it shouldn't be pulling a full day's juice out in 4 hours or less... but it does, JD is the only thing I've found that works.. I used to use ATK but read online that killing bloatware apps just makes em restart which will drain power quicker..
Help please?
