Default Rooting (Samsung)

Hi,

I have a Samsung Galaxy Europa, which i would like to root. I have seen the thread dated dec 15th 2012, about this, but this hasnt been helpful for me so far, can someone please help me out with other ways it can be done for this specific phone. I also tried to do it through Androot, also without success.

Thanks!

Google is your best friend, especially for such an obscure device. I'm only providing this to you because it's impossible to screw up. Please know what root actually means before you do it.

It is, but it's also dangerous if you accidentally delete something you shouldn't, for example, the launcher. Always double check what you delete before you do it and make a backup. Google that if you're not sure.

Hey there Ceres, let me start off by welcoming you to the forums

Anyhow, if you are interested in rooting, ExtremeNerd has told you the right steps, I.E. creating a backup and such.

If you really want to know more you should read this: What is root or being rooted mean?

Within this is the reason you are rooting:

Quote:
Rooting lets you delete the bloatware/crapware that often now comes pre-installed by the manufacturers and carriers, and which usually can't be deleted/uninstalled without root.
If you have any more questions or concerns feel free to ask
