Default SGSIII vs LG Nexus 4

i've owned a Nexus One for 2 and a half years now on rolling contract and i'm ready for a new phone. I want stock android so nexus is on the list but i want something future proof aswell so LTE would be nice. I've whittled it down to 2 choices really:

Galaxy S3 Titanium LTE (international) on 26 a month contact 750mb internet = 668 over 18 months

LG Nexus 4 16GB - on an all unlimted 12 month contract at 21 a month = 531

i like the S3 im just scared to death of any contract over 12 months and i dont want to pay any more than 26 a month. I'm a music listener but i'm willing to compromise on sound quality. Is the new nexus for me? i'm not asking for a difinitive answer or anything, just your thoughts if you were in my shoes.
