Default moving icons

Not sure what the name of the screen is but you have the screen (i think the home screen) where you press an app and it moves to the (front) screen.

This I have no problems with, my question is how move the app icons that are in the (back screen) ie the permanent ones. Not the icons that you make into a short cut,

I hope that makes sense.

I just want to organise my apps with all the ones I want or find more important on the front screen of apps.

Im not talking about the screen where you put your widgets and shortcuts.

EDIT,

just worked it out.

Is there a name for the screen other than your home screen though?

I think you are talking about rearranging your app drawer. Many of the default launchers don't have that ability. You will need to use a different launcher in order to sort them differently. If you let us know the make, model and android version of your phone we can make some suggestions.

Ive got a GS3 but have managed to work it out about 2 minutes after I created the thread. I just wanted to put the apps I find most useful on the first screen and not all over the place.

Im kind of pedantic when it comes to organisation.

Is there a way to make a folder where you can keep all the useless stuff.

I have icons from my phone company, and apps I will never use. Is there a way to create a folder to put them all in?

EDIT,

dont worry I have found out how to hide apps.

Not to worry, you seem to be figuring most of this stuff out on your own.
