Hi,

My phone recently decided to automatically update android to 4.0.4 from 4.0.3. since the update it's been powering itself off regularly and refusing to turn back on even though when I have managed to get it back on it's shown plenty of power, like 60%.

Does anyone know what's going on or what I should do?

Hi! I'm having the same problem. Just got the 4.0.4 upgrade on my Galaxy S2 (AT&T) last week, and every day (sometimes multiple times) the phone powers off. It's usually hot and the battery is much lower. This didn't happen previously and I'm not doing anything different than before - it started with the upgrade.

Were you able to solve this problem? Anyone else?

Sometimes OTA updates can cause issues with the device.

Your best bet would be to factory reset the device to get it back to normal.

This will, however, delete all of your data, so be wary.
