I am just wondering why don't you just properly rip the blue ray so you won't have a problem? I have blue ray quality videos that play fine using Dice Player.

If you're just copying the files from a Blu-ray disc, it won't work. As chanchan05 posted, they have to be properly ripped.

Commercial Blu-ray content is likely to have DRM copy protection as well.

Cause I don't have the files myself my friend let me download it from his site. I thought about that but even if I didrip the files myself I would still need a player to play it on my phone.

Even if you get dice player, if they aren't properly ripped they won't play. You could try to compiling the DVD files into an ISO and then ripping it that way so you can get a proper video file.

Here's a link to Dice:

Then you go to your bluray files, turn them into ISOs and properly rip them into actual video formats.

Forgot Blu-Ray, no phone os will play raw dvd. vob files either, optical media have particular structures, they are not just a simple digital media file, and this is totally ignoring the encryption that's involved. Optical disks whether physical or iso's have to be converted into a compatible format before it can be decoded and played on your device. Without getting into the decryption aspect after the disk has been ripped into a digital format you still have to convert it into a file format that is playable and formatted for your particular device. Once you have the digital source ripped then using something like Handbrake to convert it leaves you with a file that's finally playable on your phone.
