My Samsung galaxy s (froyo) LCD screen cracked. It doesn't show anything after i turn on the phone now. I tried to back-up my data using Samsung Kies and i was successful in copying photos and videos but not the contacts. The program stopped and failed to load my contacts. I am wondering if there is a file in the phone that stores all contact information, which i can copy and paste into my desktop (i can still access the phone using a USB cable connected to my desktop). Any help will be much appreciated, thanks!

Go see if you can find an older version of Kies. Nokia used something very similar if not Kies, and when they did the last update to its version - all you got was photos and music.

Earlier versions did have a file drawer for contacts, etc.
