Default Titanium zip?

I saw this feature in an update of TB. So I tried it. Yes, it works. I got a zip file.

Now the update to CM10 for my phone is out. I backed up the phone and noticed that TB had everything in the file folder as usual, and the zip. My usual method is to plug the phone in, and copy all files and folders back to the phone.

Now there is also the zip, and no instructions for it that I could find.
Do you unzip it into a folder, or do you put the zip on the phone somewhere? That would mean a reinstall of TB wouldn't it? Since there is nothing on the phone but the new ROM.

Or do you just copy over all files and folders and ignore the zip?

You flash the zip after you flash the ROM
