Question MP3 Player Recommendation

Anyone got any recommendations on an Android powered MP3 player, seen a few Samsung & Sony ones about, i'm assuming they are much the same in theory??

They're much the same as a phone, just without cell radios. Thing of them as WiFi only tablets, only smaller.

I think there's only a few that are generally available, the Samsung Galaxy Player, Sony Walkman Z, Creative Zen 2 and I think Archos might do one as well.

There's always the Apple iPod Touch, although it's not Android and you'll have iTunes to deal with. BTW the iPod Touch is one of the few Apple products, I'd seriously consider buying.

I'm sure there's still a demand for MP3/MP4 players, although not nearly as much as there used to be.

Agreed. I have a iPod Touch from I went abroad. It allowed me to have music and a wifi connection overseas. I would have taken my phone but it was like carrying a brick around.

Agreed on the mp3/mp4 players. Most everyone just uses their phone now as long they have a smartphone.
