Default I can't download apps from google play store!

hello guys i have a GSM galaxy nexus running on stock android 4.2 but everytime i try to download an app i get either "the package file is invalid" or "the application could not be downloaded due to an error 911"
please help me what to do?

One other option is head into Settings - apps - Google Play - clear data/cache.
See if that works. If not, contacting Google would be your best option.

hi i had this problem ,kept getting can not download this app because of error 403,
i have samsung galaxy s3 and my wife has iphone 4s and she couldnt get on to the app store or download or update,on 3g was no problem but on wifi we kept getting error 403,in our routers settings the cookies wasnt checked ,once checked we have no problem with app store or google play store,hope this helps some people,

Have you been able to download apps from the Play Store at all or has this always been the case?

Or has this only happened since updating to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean?

If the latter then hopefully dreadnatty08's advise should work.

this happens at random for me, mainly if the internal storage is low ( >25MB). often it puts a triangle with exclamation point in the notification bar.
