New here. Device recommendations
Hey all,
This is my first post. I've been gathering information off of this forum for some time through my experiences with custom ROMs on my previous devices.
First of all, I'd like to thank all of you who contribute to this site. Your knowledge and the information you share is one of the most helpful places anywhere for tech issues to walkthroughs for root and custom ROMs.
Now on to my questions,
My wife has requested a new tablet for Christmas. The one thing she asked for was an ability to use a stylus to write notes on it for class. I'm guessing this can be achieved fairly well with any tablet with the right stylus.. Am I right? So, beyond that, what tablet would you recommend? I'd like to keep the purchase under $250 or so if possible. I like the idea of the nexus 7. I'd prefer one that was equipped with jellybean by default as I'm interested in trying google now with the tablet. All opinions, insults, recommendations, and points to information are welcome!
Second question,
I'm looking for a new device. I'm currently on page plus, which I like, but i've recently become interested in Simple Mobile. They have an unlimited plan with 250MB of 4g and 3g unlimited thereafter for $40 a month. I'd have to spend $55 with page plus to get 2GB of data. Anyway, I've considered changing devices and upgrading to something better than the X2. The Nexus 4 has definitely caught my eye, but who knows how long before I can even get one. I just want the ability to slap my friends with Iphone in the face for once for being so pretentious. Can't do that until I have a phone that can actually stand up to the friggin thing. So, would you recommend waiting for the nexus 4 or is there another device you would recommend buying used that would give me jellybean and google now with good specs? Also, any opinions on simple mobile?
thanks in advance for allowing me to partake in the information on this site and for your help and responses!
