Default Could a Butterfly be flashed with DNA to work on Verizon

So I really want the DNA but the lack of SD is a dealbreaker for me. My question is, is there any reason that you could'nt make a Butterfly ordered from Japan work on the Verizon network. I feel like this should be easy to do any thoughts?

Doubtful that it would work on the network due to radio frequency/technology differences. I don't know enough about KDDI to know what they use over in Japan, but in general due to Verizon's CDMA proprietary nature, usually only Verizon phones will work on Verizon.

KDDI uses CDMA, and I have seen Sprint phones work there, but no idea if it would cross to Verizon.

It operates at 800 MHz, so - maybe.

A number of the features aren't going to work here and unless you speak Japanese, you will probably have to root it to change the localization features.

Why not get the Verizon equivalent, the DROID DNA?

I think he said he wanted the SD card slot

OP - I don't think Verizon EVER allows phones not originally slotted for their network to be activated on it. They lean on their whole "certification" process, to justify why only phones they have had their fingerprints all over are allowed to work on their network.

They don't Antimony, i know this for a fact. Only phones allowed on the Verizon network are phones that Verizon themselves have.

Otherwise, i know the DNA can be ported out of Verizon once unlocked

Off topic, but out of context, the thread title sounds ridiculous and hilarious.
