First off, awkward name, isn't it? My first Google search came up with some odd results....
Anyway, I would recommend not expecting much from this tablet. If I found the right one, it has a 600 MHz processor, which is very, very low. The available wireless is only b/g, which doesn't allow 'n' connections, which is the quickest. Your work WiFi may only be broadcasting the now standard 'n' connection, and your tablet can't connect. Or, it may need to validate some credentials.
Either way, my personal recommendation is to return it if possible. There are better tablets to be had in the same price range.

2) Cheap devices are cheap for a reason. Don't expect high end performance.
