Default Phone number on lock screen

I keep my Android phone locked. I would like to put a notice (reward, phone number, etc) on my lock screen to let the person who finds it to know how to reach me. How can I do that?
Thanks.

Which phone are you using? Some phones have the ability built in and some don't.

Settings > Security > Owner Info.

(Personally, I recommend leaving instructions for how a total stranger can contact you if they find your phone. I leave instructions to call my Google Voice number.)

I use WidgetLocker to replace my lockscreen, then use Minimalistic Text to leave an "If found" message on the lockscreen.

I give my work email address, which will get to me but isn't linked to the phone itself.
