Default Batter status changing.

On my Xperia U (android 2.3.7) some time while I am working on phone battery status jumps 1-2 percent high. After it, it only decrease this 1-2% if I keep working on phone for few minutes.

I want to know if this a sign of battery problem or just software reading issue which can be fixed by calibration. I only have one battery tool installed (Go Power Master). I have no battery draining issue and my battery is lasting good enough but I am wondering why its jumping occasionally as I have only seen before that battery status suddenly dropped by 1-2 percent if battery is in poor condition.

Anyone seen such issue ever? what can be the cause?

First off welcome to the forums

I am assuming you mean the battery sometimes jumps up 1-2%, then sometimes goes down fast 1-2%....This is completely normal, sometimes when the battery hasn't completely calibrated it can gain battery percentage, weird i know, but it happens. Otherwise when you are using your phone, doing a lot of moving around on the device, browsing the internet, watching videos, etc battery can jump down at an alarming rate.

Hope this helps

Thanks for warm welcome

Okay so its nothing to worry about but I have also witnessed another thing. May be I feel stupid but its happening.

When I bought the mobile and give it a full charge it drain normally as expected but on second full charge (I let battery drain around 20% then give a 100% charge) it drained around 50% quickly with same level of usage and even on standby. This pattern s keep happening and I have witnessed this behavior 2-3 times (total 7-8 days).

Any idea? I don't know much how lithium-ion batteries built and how charge applied to them (internal details).

hmm, i know sometimes my phone acts up on certain days and the battery drains a lot faster than usual. Usually some app just runs differently on some days, a restart of your device should fix that issue, it is a pain yes, but it should fix it
