Default how to Sync contacts back to hotmail

I have a HTC Desire running v2.3 (i think).
I got all my contacts from Hotmail, easy peasy. my problem is if i add a contact to my phone, it is not sent back up to my hotmail contacts.

How do i ensure any contacts i add to the phone get pushed back to hotmail?

Thanks!

I think Hotmail contact integration is only a one-way deal with Android. Meaning you can only download, not push updates back when you add to your phone. Seen a couple of cases like this and that's been the conclusion.

My suggestion is create a Google account and transfer your contacts there. The phone will sync both ways then.

Completely correct conclusions. I would also suggest in making a Gmail then you can have 2 way sync, this way you can easily have all your contacts everywhere!
