Default I can't set app default install location back

My first post here so firstly, Hi all!

So, my problem: I set my phone (Alcatel OT-983 running v2.3.7) to default to installing apps to SD, using the 'pm setInstallLocation 2' command. This worked fine but now I want to reset it back to install to 'apps choice' setting. I did a 'pm setInstallLocation 0' but it doesn't seem to have worked. Apps/widgets still keep getting installed to SD.

I now can't get widgets to show up in the widget menu, even when I move them to the phone memory, manually (I know widgets only work when in the phone's mem).

Any ideas?

I am new to Android and linux. Is there an ADB shell command to display the phone's currently set install location?

[edit] Ok, I found the command to list the currently set install mode. It's 'pm getInstallLocation'. So, I am setting the mode correctly but everything is still getting installed to SD :/
