Default Scrambled (codejunk, jibberish) sent email messages

I use the stock email application on a Galaxy S3, on a Google account that I have for years and I have the following problem. Although incoming mail is always fine, outgoing mail is usually OK, but sometimes it's just codejunk (scrambled, jibberish, programming code, I don't know how to describe it). It happens 1/10 of the email messages that I sent and I think only when I reply to some messages. At the beginning I thought that I had this problem only when I was replying to emails that were sent from an iphone, but this is not the case. Is this a problem of the stock email application, or it has to do with Google? Has anyone had this problem before and is there a solution?
