Default Root my phone?

Hello all,
I own a Acer Iconia S300,now,i heard that if u root your device,you can install the latest Android version,is that true?if so,will my phone be able to handle the latest android version?

This entirely depends if their is a ROM for the newest Version of android for your device. A ROM has to be developed by Developers that support your device, you first might want to look to see if your device is being supported.

I would suggest to also do some reading on what rooting is so you have a better understand of the process and the possible outcomes of rooting.
