Question Help with Galaxy S3 OTA update. Thanks.

Hi, I have been reading for a couple of hours the post on the galaxy S3. However I have not find which app should freeze to stop over the air update.

I have a Galaxy S3, rooted, with titanium backup pro.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Which version of the S3 do you have?
Generally, you can freeze whatever you want. Deleting, on the other hand, should be done much more carefully.
To stop the OTA update, installing a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP (which should be done immediately after rooting) will generally work. Most custom ROMs do this as well.

According to a thread I found on XDA - it seems like if you are running a custom recovery you can accept the OTA update and it will either try to apply the update and fail OR the update with just crash and Force Close. Let me see if I can find some more info on this before you accept the update, but it seems to be the accepted solution.
