Default Trying to transfer camera shots from old Droid Incredible

I just got the Iphone 5 today (don't hate) and am trying to get all my camera shots from my old droid incredible transferred onto my computer so I can put them on my Iphone through Itunes (this is the way the man at the Verizon store said I'd have to do it). When I go onto HTC sync, which I just downloaded today, I can only see the last 5 camera shots. My "saved photos" from the phone I had before the droid are there, but I cannot locate the photos I took with my droid on my PC while the droid is connected to it. All the camera shots are still showing up on my old droid. Help! I don't want to lose my pictures!

Hello there gabbyslp!

Without using HTC sync, can you plug your phone into your computer, mount as a disc drive (an option on the phone after you plug in) and then go to the drive letter assigned to your device and look for a file called DCIM...your pictures should be in there. You can move them, copy them, to your desktop and then transfer them from your desktop to your Iphone.... Now that was a long sentence..sorry

Hope that helps somewhat

Before you attempt to do what Mike is suggesting i would first install the USB drivers for your device. It would definitely aid in this whole process.
