Default How to connect to Desktop Versions of Internet alwys

Is there a way to stop the internet from going to mobile versions of sites?

It seems everytime I go on youtube it puts an m.youtube which is mobile version of youtube and I have to press the left button and change it to desktop view...

... is there a way to alway make any website go to the desktop version without having to do this step?

What browser are you using? On most, if you look in the settings, there's normally a setting to change the User Agent to Desktop.

its just that when i get an email from youtube ,... you click on the link and it always goes to m.youtube! which is mobile version of youtube ... if you left click and click that desktop version of youtube it still after refresh goes to m.youtube as i dont think it understands...
