Default Debug samsung

How I enable debugging when connected to USB? I want to sync outlook via kies but the debug is greyed out so can't proceed. On home laptop it's ok, but not on work pc. And I really need calendar on mobile. Thanks anyone who can help. Jill

If it's running Jellybean, go to settings > about phone and press on the build number 7 times in a row. It's a semi-hidden feature now.
