Default My contacts were gone, and it said "God" at the bottom?

I woke up and my contacts were gone today. It said God at the bottom of the blank contact list.

I added a new contact, and then they were all there again. What just happened? Did somebody hack into my phone or something? I don't understand why it said "God" ... that was creepy

Whoa that is wierd!
Welcome by the way!
So you only had one contact, "God", when you woke up? And then you added a contact and, BOOM, all contacts reappeared?
What device do you have? I have not heard of that before, but perhaps someone else has.
What was His number? Cuz I'd sure like to have a direct line to Him!

haha thank you. "God" wasn't a contact, it was centered at the bottom of my screen, in grey words. I would have definitely called him if I could!

I have a Samsung Galaxy Proclaim and my carrier is Net10

So all contacts gone, and then where was this message that said "God" at the bottom? I am just confused in the contacts area where this would show up.

What version of android are you running?

I'd start repenting immediately. Next time it happens it might be the other guy. Then you're screwed.

Sounds like somebody played a trick on you, or an interesting Trojan.

Either way start a unique Gmail account to only sync contacts/calender info; it is free and a life saver. Anytime you update a contact or calender entry re-sync and you are golden.

ok that is definitely weird. to be safe i would start an entirely new account and move your contacts over to the new account. just to be safe, but that is up to you and "God"....LOL
