Default How to reconnect 3G connection in Android Tablet

Hi everyone,
i'm quite new to android OS systems. I have tried to google for solutions, it seems it cant find any.

I have insert my 3G SIM card into the tablet. However sometimes it will gets disconnect and if i need to boot up the connection, i need to shut the tablet down entirely and on again in order the connection to resume.

Can i know if there is ant option to re-enable the connection without shutting down?

I went to Settings-->More-->Mobile Networks but cannot find any reconnect option. BTW, i'm using android icecream version. Toshiba AT300

thanks
