Are there good written (PDF - book - etc.) or video tutorial for newbies about Android - smartphones - tablets (not so young))) users?

You could probably find some books out there on Android by now. I also notice there is a selection of Android magazines at my local book stores now which have tutorials. Probably the best place to learn to searching this forum or asking us specific questions.

Also very helpful ... try searching for a user's guide on the device you are interested in ... like "bionic user guide".

When I bought my Huawei with Android 4.0.3 pre-installed, there was a little guide around the system built in the OS.

Here's my user guide:

Press and hold the power button until something happens, then release.
Press "next" until you can't anymore.
Press each icon on the device to see what it does. If you like what it does, then press it again.
Repeat previous step.
