You're talking about a tablet I assume. I don't believe that they do support USB audio devices, USB on tablets tends to be limited to mass storage, PC keyboards and mice, and sometimes 3G cellular modems. If the headphone jack is giving problems, there maybe other ways to get audio out of the device. If it has Bluetooth, you can use that via the A2DP HQ audio profile. HDMI maybe another option of the tablet has that. And there's also DLNA via WiFi.
