Default jelly bean autofilling url

First of all, Hello world.
I'm new here but i did search and could't find the answer to my question. mostly i see threads about the autofilling feature which i don't use personally but i can imagine it's pretty cool.

Maybe i am using the wrong term but I'll try to explain my problem and see what you guys know. Often, in Chrome I will start typing a url, lets say google, so i press google.com but when i look up at the url, it had tried to autofill the url for me based on a previous entry, and then put the rest of what i typed at the end, so google.com ends up google.com/mail/u/0/?tab=wm#inboxoogle.com or something like that. I have looked all over the settings and i can't find anything other than the autofill settings. Is there a way to get it to stop doing this?

Here's what I've got: Droid Raz maxx, Jelly Bean, usually i use chrome. i don't notice it on firefox but that might be because it doesn't have that much history to suggest from.
Thanks everyone!
