Angry How do I get rid of "Naughty Chat Rooms"?

Wonder if anybody can help me.
For the last 3 days, this app or whatever it is is popping up in my notification area (I have a Galaxy Note II).
I didn't install anything like this and it doesn't show up in my apps. I also haven't installed any new apps recently and when I ran a virus scan with Avast on my phone this morning, it came up clear.
This popping up every morning is annoying - I'm also concerned that I may be charged for it.
Would be grateful for any help

It might not have been something you've installed in the last three days, but some free app or game has probably been updated and the permissions have changed. Have you got auto-update turned on. If so apps will auto-update and permissions can change. If you got ICS or JB hold your finger on the notification and it should tell you what installed particular app or game is causing the notifications or ads.

Yeah, most likely push advertising from some app you've installed at some point. As Mike says, could have been an update added this, or sometimes they've been known to wait a little while before doing it. Funnily enough, app desciptions very rarely say when they are using this type of ad.

There's a sticky thread about it in Android Applications with more suggestions, if you have trouble tracking down the culprit.

Install Add-ons Detector. Run a scan and uninstall the offending app.
