Default is it possible to update my software?

Hi all,

i have a galaxy S2 running 4.0.4 and i'd like to update to the latest software, if possible. I've done quite a bit of research but i can't seem to find a how-to. Any help would be great.

Model SGH-T989
VER 4.0.4
Base T989uvli4

thanks

Which carrier are you on?
Try the Samsung galaxy s2 T-Mobile SGH-T989 All things Root thread.

I don't think there are any software updates by the carrier,So you will probably have to use a Custom ROM that already has the update embedded in the Custom ROM.

The T-989 should be able to receive 4.1.2 Jelly Bean via Kies.

If you're on a PC, you need to download and install Kies Mini, and then plug in your phone and use Kies to update it to JB.
