Has anyone had any experience with adding a large number of media files to your G1? I've just added about 1G's worth of files, in Ogg format, and it seems to be taking quite a while to index. Wondering if it works faster with MP3.

Turns out some of the songs have non-ASCII characters in their names & metadata; looks like the media player choked on them. Indexing is otherwise quite fast, though it seems that the only way to get album art displayed is still to embed it inside the file.
