game media showing up as mp3 and video player

hey people,
I recently bought some gameloft games for my droid incredible but i noticed all the sounds of music of the games are showing up on my media players. Is there any fix for this issue?

It's annoying when that happens... you'd think the developers would makeit so that their data directories wouldn't do that. The only solution I've found is to place a .nomedia file into the offending folders and then those files don't show up anymore. Sometimes it takes awhile for the gallery to refresh for me but there's an app in the market that will initiate an sd card refresh.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll go ahead and try your solution. I'm currently using the real player beta since it's the only media app I can find that plays video and music and also lets you view photos. I heard that google is working on their own version of itunes. Is there any truth to that?
