OK appologies if this has been answered elsewhere I did try to look for it but couldnt see anything.

When I drag and drop music albums onto my sd card from my pc they appear on my phone (HTC Desire HD) but they are not in album view all tracks in all the albums are visable, I would expect to see the list of albums when I open up music and then scroll to the one I wanted to then select it to show the tracks.

I thought it was maybe the way I was importing them so used iTwist to copy my music files accros (which took an age) but still the same problem exists.

Is this as simple as a view option or am I doing something wrong?

Ok I have answered my own question but just encase anyone else out there has the same problem, I notices that if I went into the album on my pc I could sort the tracks by 'Album' I notices that for some strange reason the album title was slightly differant on a few tracks, if you right click the track and selct properties and then click on the Details tab you can change the album name to match the rest.

Once I did this and copied accross the changes It showed as one album on the phone.

Yes, just make sure your id3 tags are correct. If you rip your own music it should never be a problem.
