Default Help with droid x media player

Hey guys, first time posting. Hope this isn't a foolish question, but how do I get the media player to list album tracks in the proper order? When I go into files the songs are in the proper order but when I choose the album I want to listen to they are in alphabetical order. Thank you.

Marc

The ID3 tags need to be correct for the player to list them in the right order. The player, and all other players for phones/computers, use the ID3 tags to order songs, not filenames. There are apps for the phone for this, and tons of programs for pc's do to this. I personally use TagScanner on the pc.

Yep, I used to have all my music just sorted by filename and folder, before itunes was released. When I got that, I realized I would have to id3 tag all of my 60gb collection. It took a while, but it's well worth it when you are done, all your music will be very well organized.
