I plan to develop an phone application which will capture images and while capturing the images they will be tagged with the accelerometer/gyroscope coordinates of the phone orientation when the image was captured.So in this fashion we know where the image is to be placed in the 3D canvas.Finally, placing all the images in a 3D canvas we get panoramic image.

My doubts:
1) whether i should use gyroscope or accelerometer?
2) which image stitching algorithm I should use?.
