Custom tone for email that shows as MMS
I regularly receive text alerts for work that show as multimedia messages. The text alerts generate a new message number for each message, and the sender is formatted as an email address instead of a phone number. I need to be able to set a custom alert for this messages so that they will wake me up at night when necessary.
We used to use a pager for this, so I could put my phone on silent and things would be great, but to save money they have decided to this text message thing instead.
I downloaded CustomSMS, which sets for any of my contacts, but since there is a random number generated for each message, and its formatted as an email address, CustomSMS does not recognize the text alerts as messages, and in fact, won't play an alert at all!
Any ideas?
