Hello, I have an Optimus S with Sprint service via Credo (great deal, btw)...
I had several ringtones in the form of Audacity files, most under 45 seconds in length. I put these on the phone and they work fine. However, now I notice that I have the WHOLE song (Beatles, at that) instead of the shorter files, one of the songs was from the Anthology, but now the entire song is there, from the original album. Does anyone know how this happened??

Regardless of how it happened, you can use Ringdroid application (free) to cut the songs and put exactly the piece that you want as a ringtone.
