Default Broken movie clip

Hallo everybody,
that's an hard one...

I've an xperia x8 froyobread v0.30 that works like a charme.

I use to record video and it's always doing fine.

Yesterday I was recording a movie (very funny) when I suddenly felt on the ground, the phone felt as well and obviously shut down (the battery has been see flying over the street).

The phone is ok, no damage, but the video recording didn't close, so even if the .3gp file contains 15MB of data it results unplayable.

I've mooved it on my mac and tryed to recover it with several application without success.

Does anyone ever faced the same problem or can give an hint about how to recover the video?

It should be very funny, expecially at the end when everything goes flying and mad...

If I'll be able to recover it I'll post it on this forum

thx in advance

I believe you mean "fell", not felt.

As for your problem, you are pretty much out of luck. When the phone records video, it usually caches the video before actually writing to the sd card. When the battery came out, it broke that link, and therefore the file is now corrupt.

Yes, perhaps it would be tough to salvage anything.
If you try to open the file with a few good video editing apps, then there could be a chance of salvaging something (perhaps not the whole video or audio). If that doesn't work, then the files are indeed corrupt beyond repair.

In any case try these solutions:
* Fix 3gp files | Fix 3gp file format
* 3GP Recovery | Deleted 3GP Recovery | Restore Corrupted 3GP
* The best software to fix and restore 3GP files.
