Default Unable to delete photos

I have a HTC wildfire S and I want to delete a few photos, but for some reason I am unable to find the option to delete photos when I view them in the gallery. Any ideas?

Long press on the photo?
EDIT: ... in the step before the photo is shown screen. Also choose the photo to delete at that picture array. You will get a pop up edit menu

Thanks for the help Harry.

I was just getting options for location, set as and info. I found that If I double tapped the screen, I further options and one was to delete. I am sure it was easier than this a few weeks ago. Oh well, mystery solved.

The best way might be to use QuickPic for this job

Default Unable to delete photos

Go to the gallery.Choose Camera Shots.Press the Bin icon from the bottom toolbar. Select the pictures or videos you want to delete by marking them with a red X. If you choose the wrong one, simply tap on it again and then select the correct one. Press Delete.
