Thumbs up file exploring??

Hi,
Been using android for a few.months now and I must say it is pretty special. Love it!!!

Anyway,

What I am trying to figure out, if possible, is to find a way I can explore files on my MacBook pro from my android device?

In a nutshell, I want to be able to sit on the sofa and browse my music files on my phone, that are stored on my MacBook, and drag them across from my MacBook to my phone without having to plug my USB cable in. Obviously I will need to find out if I can setup a wirelesses network on my Mac that will allow this to happen.

Can anyone help me??

Thanks in advance!!

Mick

Have a look at the file manager EStrongs File Explorer.
To reach a share on your notebook via WiFi you should use the LAN tab of the file manager.

For this kind of connection the file manager uses the SMB network protocol.
I think a Mac can use it too.

You can also use audio galaxy, and view and stream your files from tour computer to your phone, even if you are miles away... Its free too.

I use EStrong File Explorer because i am used to it now but ASTRO File Manager is best i suppose. And Bluetooth File Transfer is also good. Try these out you will come to know which suits you

You should be looking at remote desktop apps, not file explorers. Dont know of one that works for Mac though.
