Default DVD Ripper?

Looking for recommendations on a decent (preferably free) DVD ripper to rip DVD's so I can convert them for use on my android tablet.

Thanks,

Larry

This one is $10 but they do have a trial if you want to try it out first. I've had it for 1.5 years now without any hiccups.

Those are all around $35. I If you're wanting to make digital copies for your devices, then I still vote for DVD Catalyst for $10.

+1 for DVDCatalyst!

Very easy to use, flexible and advanced settings if you want to tinker. There are lots of profiles for just about every mobile device on the market. If you need help the developer is very responsive and typically responds in less than 24 hours.

He's got step-by-step instructions for the most popular devices; although it's pretty straight-forward. There's a drop-down list of virtually every single device out there on the market. There's usually 3-4 profiles per device, and it comes down to the video quality and file size you want. The greater the video quality, the larger the file size will be. Selecting a different audio format will only increase it slightly.

Go look at his tutorials on his home page, on the bottom right. Home of DVD Catalyst 4 - convert fast and easy AVI DVD MKV to Bionic Droid iPad3 iPhone4 iPod Touch4 Iconica Innotab Galaxy Tab Nabi Playbook Transformer Prime Thrive Vita Xoom XyBoard and more

I also have a 15 minute video on YouTube.
