Default Videos Showing In Gallery

I put some music videos in a folder, and they appear in the Gallery.

It it possible to stop the videos showing in the Gallery without using an app to hide them?

TIA

Stock Gallery? No. But we'd advise most people to stop using that anyway. Try QuickPic or Fishbowl.

Yep the Stock Gallery. I'll try one or both of those apps. Thanks

You could put a full stop (.) in front of your music video folder's name and this folder won't be shown in the stock gallery any more

But you have to test that your video player still can see the videos in this folder.

Thank you Harry. That has made the videos disappear from the Gallery. Trouble is the .Videos folder has also disappeared lol. Not had the phone long, so far only used the default video player.

Update, just selected show hidden files and now I can see the .Videos folder, and they aren't shown in the Gallery.
